Can I drive into another country?

You can drive your rental vehicle in another country, provided that it is one of the authorised territories. (See list below)

As regards use of the rented vehicle abroad, the assistance, cover and breakdown services will be different.

For private passenger vehicles :

Use of the rented vehicle, whatever the category or group whatever the category or group to which it belongs, will only be authorised in the following European countries, to the exclusion of all others:

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Steps to cross borders (Cross border Fee) :

When booking your vehicle on the website, after selecting the agency, time, date and vehicle, please select the ‘Cross Border’ or ‘Couverture Transfrontalière’ option in step 3 ‘Protection and Extras’ (see example on the site below).
